What I Learned on Monday Night

Through 11 negotiating sessions since April, the local teachers' union has refused to accept a new contract for District 181 teachers, the state's highest paid. The current contract expires Aug. 24. This union clearly has no good-faith intentions. It's intent is taxpayer extortion. Greed is its creed.
